Welcome
I'm glad you found me. This is to be a pure indulgence for me- a place to crow about what delights me, and rant about what torments me. And if you know me, there is little in between in my view. Indifferent I am not.
What consumes much too much of my time is my work, fashioning (hopefully) beautiful things out of fabric for my cherished designers and their clients. You, lucky reader, will get the opportunity to puzzle things out with me, review my missteps, glory in gorgeous fabrics and fabulous homes, and meet fascinating people.
I'll also talk occasionally about other passions. Cooking for and with family and friends. An upcoming trip to Tuscany and the inspiration I hope to draw from that adventure. And my new solo life. My two daughters are preparing to set out on their own, and for the most part I will have only myself to take care of. To compensate for the vast hole their flight from the nest will leave, I hope to have some great adventures.
